Prince Charles is heir apparent to the British throne. He has one sister and two brothers. His sister is named Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise. She was born in 1950 and is two years younger than Prince Charles.

Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward was born in 1960 and is 12 years younger than Prince Charles while Prince Edward Anthony Richard Louis was born in 1964 and is 16 years younger.

Queen Elizabeth II is Prince Charles    mother and his father is the Duke of Edinburgh, the former Prince Philip of Greece. The family's name is Windsor, but Queen Elizabeth announced in 1960 that her descendants will bear the name of Mountbatten Windsor.
