HOW OLD IS ACTRESS GRETA GARBO?

One of the most famous actresses in motion pictures is Grata Garbo. Even though she hasn't made a picture in almost 45 years, she is still known by a great many people. The famous Garbo was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1905. Until her death, she lived a very private life in New York City. Greta Garbo  was born on 18 September 1905 and died on 15 April 1990) was a Swedish-American actress during Hollywood's silent film period and part of its Golden Age.

Garbols real name is Greta Lovisa Gustafson. She played her first starring role in a film made in 1924. She had a total of 27 movies before she retired in 1941.

Garbo is one of the very few stars who achieved equal success in both the silent movies as well as in sound films.

The famous actress was known for her intense desire for privacy. She retired without explanation at the height of her fame.

Among Garbo's famous films are    "Anna Christie," made in 1930,

"Grand Hotel," made in 1932, "Mata Hari," made in 1932, "Anna Karenina," made in 1935 and "Camille," made in 1936. Her first major comedy was made in 1939 and was called "Ninotchka."
