Welcome to You Ask Andy

The housefly is always pausing to scrape herself clean and groom her small. body. She is fussy about her personal hygiene, but nevertheless, the housefly is dangerous to us because her small.. body is not spotlessly clean. She carries countless microscopic microbes on her hairy feet and when she stands on, say, our food, some of the  germs are left behind.

She lays her eggs and tends to feed in garbage piles where decay bacteria and other microbes thrive. Some of these germs stay on her body and are later transferred to anything the fly touches.
