Where do whales go in the winter?

Some whales feed on giant squid, some on fish and some on floating plankton. An animal must go where his diet is plentiful and the great whales divide up the ocean food supplies between them. T le squid eaters stay in warm oce'an's' and hunt in the deop waters, The fish eaters follow schools of little fishes around the world. The great plankton eaters live in polar seaN. These giants migrate from pole to pole as the floating plankton comes in season.

The temperature of the ocean warer varies very little through the year and whales do not mind the cold. For this reason, they do not migrate, like the birds, between summer and winter homes. Their only traveling is done in search of food.
