James Spaltro, age 12, South Oran , Maine, , for his question:
Which. is the worlds biggest bear
This problem has not been settled, even in the world of bears. The Alaskan brown bear, the grizzly and the average Kodiac bear stands about ten feet tall and tip the scales at three quarters of a ton. Sometimes the Kodiac bear is 12 feet tall and even heavier. The polar bear may be ten feet long and 100 pounds heavier than the three other contestants.
If this problem is ever settled among the bears, Andy does not wish to be around. These fellows are the biggest meat eaters on land and all of them are fierce fighters. The title would most likely be won by the giant Kodiac bear if he could out weigh and out fight the deadly polar bear.
