Why is a barracuda dangerous?

The biggest of the barracudas is called the tiger of the sea. The ferocious fellow may be eight feet long, and he is always ready for a fight. He does not wait for troublt  he starts it by attacking any living creature that comes near him. His mighty jaws have rows of dagger sharp teeth, some of them almost one inch long.

This ocean going tiger prowls the Atlantic from North Carolina as far south as Florida. He also lives near the West Indies. He dines on fish, but he also attacks human swimmers, and many peop1e in the water have died from his cruel bites.
