How can a skunk stand its scent?
Mr. Skunk does not like his scent any more than you do. He is mighty careful not to foul himself up with it. When you carry a powerful weapons as he does, often a threat is quite enough. Mr. Skunk always growls and stamps his foot as a warning. He only squirts when he is really afraid of danger.
His aim is excellent ‑ right in his enemy's face. And not a drop of the smelly stuff goes onto his black and white fur. While his enemy is gasping the handsome hero makes off as fast as he can ‑ usually into ‑a head wind.
Skunks sometimes fight each other, Usually they agree not to use The Weapon, Once in a while however, two contestants may get carried away. Then one or the other may forget his manners and foul up a relative,
