Welcome to You Ask Andy

Ronnie Newton, age 13, of Halifax, Va., for his question;

Where is the home of the ocelot?

This handsome fellow is a native of the New World. For some reason he prefers to keep his beauty hidden. His home is deep in the dense, dark jungles of Central and South America. He hides by day and is even a little shy of venturing forth on moonlit nights.

The ocelot is a jungle cat a little larger than a house cat. The base color of his silken fur coat is pale gold, His entire body, from head to tail, is bedecked with blobs, blotches or circles of chocolate brown. H© may wear a marbleized design and it is said that no two ocelots are marked exactly alike. Add a pair of huge green eyes and you have some idea of his beauty.
